Hi Cheryl;

Growing up, two things fascinated me: building bridges and painting.
Building bridges became my profession, which I love. As painting remains a hobby, it is still a way to express my thoughts, life, the beauty in my surroundings, and sometimes a way to escape to a dream world. (http://www.mekdam.com/) is a station for all my oil paintings, which I hope you enjoy as much as I do. I always enjoyed and appreciated all sorts of art. However, oil paintings have been by far the only type of art I am drawn to. I can say it was never as part of my life as it is now. I put my thoughts in perspective and painting has occupied more space in my life than before. I have become more aware to make time to paint rather than wait for the free time to announce itself. Overall, I am enjoying every aspect of it. The stages of paintings are fun; and seeing my paintings complete add more joy to my day.
